This policy describes what information Novarelynx collects and how we use it. Novarelynx is currently in beta -- see our Terms of Service for what that means for your use of the Service.
When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and use it to create or identify your account. We store an account identifier (a randomly generated subdomain), your subscription plan, bandwidth usage statistics, and -- if you subscribe to a paid plan -- a Stripe customer ID that lets us look up your subscription status. We do not receive or store your full payment card details; those are handled directly by Stripe, our payment processor.
We also process, in order to operate the Service, the network traffic you route through your tunnel(s) -- this is relayed to and from your own local application and is not stored or inspected by us beyond what's needed for bandwidth metering and basic operation.
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. It is strictly necessary for the Service to function (there is no way to use your account dashboard without it) and is not used for advertising, tracking, or analytics.
We use your information to operate and provide the Service, authenticate you, process billing through Stripe, enforce plan limits, respond to support requests, and communicate important service updates (e.g. changes to these policies, planned downtime).
We use Google Sign-In for authentication, Stripe for payment processing and subscription billing, and a third-party VPS hosting provider to run the Service. Each of these processes data under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
We retain account information for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, email us at support@novarelynx.com and we will delete it, except where we're required to retain billing records by law.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but as beta software (see our Terms), we cannot guarantee absolute security, and no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Use the Service accordingly.
The Service is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us at support@novarelynx.com to exercise any of these rights.
We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised policy.
